Working at Learning Mate Solutions

Since January 2020, I have started working as Senior Visualizer at  LearningMate  Solutions, Mumbai.

This company is involved in creating digital infrastructure for learning,  and has international clients from across the world.

This kind of educational infrastructure is particularly ideal for  students facing studies during this COVID-19 pandemic though it is always available even otherwise.

Appropriately,  much of my work has been done while in work-from-home mode, and the company has been kind enough to provide the hardware.

A glance at the type of work done by me so far (and continuing) :  (Names, videos et al not mentioned due to copyright reasons)

The company assigns vendors to work on the videos and animations as per the clients requirements. My job is to interface with the vendors, clearly communicate with them, review their work vis-a-vis clients' requirements, explain modifications, occasionally do the work myself, preparing the final product for delivery.

I have worked over a period of these 10 months (majorly involving work-from-home and ongoing, due to pandemic),) over various projects as follows :

1.      Reviewer of video animations created by various vendors for Elementary and High School level students for an International company, World leader in Educational videos.  The templates, audios, images and aftereffect project files were provided by the client. My job was to interact, suggest corrections, at times do the animations myself to understand the concept, and prepare  the vendor’s work for final delivery.

2.       Reviewer of video lectures of  Professor from a well known university. This involved  listening  to the audio, animating  the text and  preparing the deliverable video.

3.      A School Safety Regulations project involved working on videos, removing green screens and adding backgrounds suggested by the client.  Audios were cut  as per the client script. Work was done in Premiere Pro.

4.      Reviewing info graphics animation videos for two leading Universities in the UK and Canada.
